This surface soil sampler (also known as core cutter sampler or field density tester) is specifically designed for field density testing in geotechnical engineering, used for collecting compacted fill or undisturbed soil samples on site. The sampling tube is driven into the soil by hammering to obtain undisturbed specimens for in-situ density and moisture content determination.
Components: Consists of galvanized anti-corrosion steel sampling tube, driving rammer (approx. 10kg), and driving dolly (approx. 1kg), equipped with hammer drive and guide device.
