This strain-controlled unconfined compressive strength tester is specifically designed for determining the axial compressive strength of saturated soft clay under unconfined conditions. During testing, the specimen is placed between upper and lower platens. Axial pressure is applied at a set strain rate until specimen failure. The maximum test force is recorded to calculate the unconfined compressive strength. Soil sensitivity can be calculated by comparing the strength ratio of undisturbed soil to remolded soil.
Dial Model: Max. test force 7.5kN, motor speed 2.4mm/min, manual speed 10 revolutions/min, screw diameter 52mm, travel distance 50mm. Simple structure and intuitive operation.
Digital Model: Max. test force 10kN, force accuracy 0.001kN. Adjustable test speed 1-5mm/min (factory default 2.4mm/min, fast speed 15mm/min). Equipped with displacement sensor (range 0-30mm, resolution 0.01mm, linearity 0.3%). Built-in micro printer for printing data lists and test results. Overall dimension 280×410×520mm.
