This rock wool board thickness tester is used for thickness measurement of boards and strips made from mineral wool, suitable for rock wool boards, slag wool boards, glass wool boards and other insulation materials. It is ideal testing equipment for insulation material manufacturers and quality inspection institutions.

Working Principle: Place the specimen between the base plate and the pressure plate. The pressure plate contacts the specimen surface with constant pressure (98Pa). The dial gauge measures the displacement of the pressure plate relative to the base plate, calculating the actual specimen thickness combined with the initial reference distance.

Operation Steps:

1. Measure approximate thickness with steel ruler, determine initial distance

2. Adjust tester so distance between base and pressure plate equals initial distance

3. Tighten moving crossbeam, gently lift pressure plate

4. Place specimen between base plate and pressure plate

5. Gently lower pressure plate to contact specimen

6. Wait for dial gauge reading to stabilize, record to 0.1mm

7. Actual thickness = Initial distance + Dial gauge reading

Block Combination Measurement Method:

1. Select appropriate reference blocks for specimen thickness

2. Place combined blocks on the support

3. Loosen column lock, adjust bracket for dial gauge preload (0.2mm)

4. Lock column, record dial gauge reading

5. Lift pressure plate, remove blocks, place specimen for measurement
