This quicklime slurry residue tester is used to measure the slurry yield and unslaked residue content of quicklime, making it key equipment for evaluating quicklime quality. Suitable for lime quality testing in building materials, metallurgy, environmental protection, chemical and other industries.
Test Principle: A measured mass of quicklime sample is slaked in a measured volume of water. The unslaked residue is separated by sieving, dried and weighed to calculate the unslaked residue percentage. The slurry height after slaking is measured to calculate the slurry yield.
Structure:
Sieve cylinder: Holds sample and water for slaking
Outer cylinder: Collects slurry from sieve cylinder
Cover: Prevents water evaporation during slaking
Wooden rod: For stirring sample to promote slaking
Round hole sieve: 5mm for residue sieving
Enamel tray/evaporating dish: For drying residue
Steel ruler: For measuring slurry height

Test Procedure:
Weigh 1kg quicklime sample into sieve cylinder with 2500ml water (20±5℃)
Cover, stand for 20min, stir 2min with wooden rod
Stand for 40min, stir 2min again
Lift sieve cylinder, rinse residue with water until clear (total water ≤3000ml)
Transfer filtrate to enamel tray, dry at 100~105℃ to constant weight
Sieve with 5mm round hole sieve, weigh residue to calculate unslaked content
After 24h standing, measure slurry height to calculate slurry yield
