This mortar setting time tester (dial gauge model) is suitable for determining the setting time and initial setting time of mortar expressed by penetration resistance. Using a mechanical dial gauge pressure measurement system, the penetration resistance values at different time intervals are measured by vertically penetrating the mortar specimen with a test needle. No power supply required, pure mechanical structure, suitable for field use and environments without electricity. It is essential equipment for building research institutions and laboratories.
Test Principle: By manual pressing, the test needle vertically penetrates the mortar specimen, and the dial gauge directly displays the penetration resistance value. When the penetration resistance reaches a specified value, it indicates the initial or final setting time of the mortar.
Components:
Mechanical dial gauge pressure measurement system for intuitive readings
Dedicated test mold (inner diameter 140mm, depth 75mm)
Standard test needle (cross-section area 30mm²)
Technical Parameters: Measuring range 0~100N, graduation value 0.5N, max stroke 50mm.
Operation Features: No power supply required, pure mechanical structure, rugged and durable; vertical penetration for easy operation; dial gauge for intuitive and reliable readings.
Mainly used in building research institutions, building material testing laboratories, mortar manufacturers, quality inspection institutions, and more for setting performance testing and quality control of mortar.
