The low strain pile integrity tester (pile dynamic tester) is a portable NDT device based on the low-strain reflected wave method (pulse echo method), used to evaluate the integrity of concrete bored piles, driven piles, and other deep foundations. The operator strikes the pile top with a hand-held hammer to generate a stress wave; the sensor captures reflected wave signals, and the system analyzes the data to quickly determine defect locations (necking, soil inclusion, segregation, voids, etc.) and severity, while also verifying pile length. The instrument features high-precision data acquisition and adaptive amplification technology for clear waveforms and easy toe reflection identification. Equipped with a high-brightness touchscreen, supports wireless data transmission, and has a built-in high-capacity lithium battery for long operation. Simple operation, one-person testing. Compliant with ASTM D5882, BS EN ISO 22477-4 and other international standards. Widely used for pile quality testing in construction, bridges, highways, railways, and port projects. The low strain pile integrity tester uses the low-strain reflected wave method (pulse echo). A hand-held hammer strikes the pile top, generating a stress wave that travels down the shaft. Reflected waves are generated when encountering defects (cracks, necking, soil inclusions, voids) or the pile toe. A sensor captures the signals, and the system displays waveforms in real time for analysis, quickly identifying defect locations and severity, while also verifying pile length. Dual-channel simultaneous acquisition allows multi-direction testing for improved efficiency. Features include a high-brightness color touchscreen, industrial-grade housing, built-in high-capacity Li-battery, wireless transmission, and real-time data upload to mobile devices or the cloud. On-site report generation with USB export. Fully compliant with ASTM D5882, BS EN ISO 22477-4 and other international standards for globally recognized test results.
