Product Features & Attributes
This ISO flow cup (viscosity cup) is used to determine the flow time of Newtonian or near-Newtonian liquids, widely applied in rapid viscosity testing and quality control in paints, coatings, varnishes, inks and other industries.
Working Principle: A fixed volume (108ml) of test liquid at specified temperature is poured into the cup. The time (seconds) for the liquid to completely flow through the standard orifice is measured, and kinematic viscosity (mm²/s) is calculated by formula.

Operation Steps:
Clean cup interior with fine gauze and soft paper through orifice
Place cup on stand, adjust level
Hold finger over orifice, pour temperature-controlled liquid to full
Level the surface, simultaneously start stopwatch and release orifice
Stop timing when flow breaks, record flow time
Average multiple measurements, calculate viscosity by formula
Available in five orifice sizes from ISO-3 to ISO-8 to suit different viscosity ranges. Stand and stopwatch available as optional accessories.
