Product Features & Attributes
This handheld soil water potential tester is used for simultaneous measurement of soil water potential and temperature, suitable for farmland irrigation guidance, greenhouse, orchards, lawns, research and other soil moisture monitoring applications.
Working Principle: The water potential probe and temperature sensor directly measure soil water potential and temperature values, displayed in real-time on the LCD screen. The built-in peak hold function automatically records the maximum water potential value during measurement.
Technical Features:
High accuracy and resolution: 0.01Kpa resolution, ±0.25KPa accuracy
Simultaneous soil water potential and temperature measurement (-55~+150℃)
Automatic peak hold function for water potential
Time setting, full scale setting, auto-save functions
Records temperature, water potential, time, and serial number simultaneously
Backlight display for low-light field conditions
Auto power-off after 10 minutes of inactivity
One main unit supports multiple probes for cost-effective flexible use
Standard Configuration: 5 water potential tubes, 1 water potential probe, 1 temperature probe
Applications:
Farmland irrigation guidance
Greenhouse soil monitoring
Orchard and tea garden moisture management
Lawn and turf moisture control
Agricultural research and education
Ecological environment monitoring
Operation:
Insert water potential tubes into the soil in sequence
Connect probes to the main unit
Turn on for instant water potential and temperature readings
Data automatically saves with timestamp
Historical data can be reviewed at any time
Available in different configurations: different probe quantities (5/10/custom), different sensor lengths (20cm/40cm/custom) to suit various soil depths and monitoring needs.
Mainly used in agricultural farms, greenhouse managers, orchard growers, research institutions, agricultural extension stations, ecological monitoring agencies, and more.
