This digital whiteness meter is used for whiteness measurement of white and near-white objects or powder surfaces, capable of quantitatively measuring whiteness after fluorescent brightening treatment. It is widely applied in textile dyeing, paints and coatings, chemical building materials, paper and paperboard, plastic products, white cement, ceramics, enamel, flour, salt, detergents, cosmetics and other whiteness measurement applications.
Working Principle: Using photoelectric conversion and analog-to-digital conversion circuitry, the reflected radiance energy from the sample surface is amplified, converted, processed and displayed as a whiteness value. The overall whiteness is blue whiteness R457, with 100 for ideal white surface (spectral reflectance ratio 1) and 0 for black surface (spectral reflectance ratio 0).
