This concrete Vebe consistency tester (VC method) is used to determine the Vebe consistency value of concrete mixtures by measuring the time (seconds) required for the mixture to be compacted until the underside of the transparent disc is fully covered with cement paste. Suitable for concrete with maximum aggregate size ≤40mm and Vebe consistency between 5-30s. It is an important instrument for evaluating concrete workability.
Components:
Slump cone: top ID 100±2mm, bottom ID 200±2mm, height 300±2mm
Cylinder: inner diameter 240±3mm, inner height 200±2mm
Transparent disc: diameter 230±2mm, thickness 10±2mm
Sliding part total mass: 2750±50g (add two 7500±50g weights for VC value test; add two 8700±50g weights for modified test)
Vibrating table: table size 380×260mm, vibration frequency 3000±200 rpm, amplitude 0.5±0.10mm
Timer: range 0.1-99.9 seconds
Motor power: 250W
Test Procedure: Place the concrete mixture into the slump cone according to standard method and lift the cone. Place the transparent disc and weights on the concrete surface. Start the vibrating table and record the time from start until the underside of the disc is fully covered with cement paste. This time is the Vebe consistency value (seconds).
Main Features:
Conforms to internationally recognized VC method for accurate and reliable results
Different weight options for testing concrete with different slumps
Stable vibration frequency and uniform amplitude for good repeatability
Timer with 0.1 second accuracy for precise compaction time recording
Robust structure, easy operation, easy maintenance
Overall Dimension: 380×520×870mm
Mainly used in concrete batching plants, construction units, quality inspection institutions, research universities, precast component factories, and more for Vebe consistency testing to evaluate the flowability and compaction performance of concrete mixtures.
