Concrete Splitting Tensile Test Fixture | ASTM C496 EN 12390-6 | Cylindrical & Cube Specimens

The Concrete Splitting Tensile Test Fixture (also known as Brazilian Splitting Test Fixture or Indirect Tensile Strength Test Device) is a specialized clamping device for determining the splitting tensile strength of concrete specimens. By applying uniformly distributed line loads (compressive stress) in the central plane of the specimen, the fixture generates approximately uniformly distributed tensile stress in the vertical plane, thereby indirectly measuring the tensile strength of concrete.
This fixture is available in two types: cylindrical fixture for Φ150mm×300mm standard cylindrical specimens (or Φ100mm×200mm non-standard specimens) and cube fixture for 150mm standard cube specimens (or 100mm non-standard cube specimens). The fixture utilizes high-hardness steel arc bearing strips and wooden plywood pads to ensure uniform load distribution and accurate, reliable test results.
Compliant with GB/T50081-2019 "Standard for Test Method of Mechanical Properties on Ordinary Concrete", JTG E30-2005 "Test Specifications of Highway Engineering Cement and Cement Concrete", ASTM C496 "Standard Test Method for Splitting Tensile Strength of Cylindrical Concrete Specimens", and EN 12390-6 "Testing Hardened Concrete - Splitting Tensile Strength", this product is an essential standard apparatus for construction engineering quality inspection, highway engineering acceptance, and research institute material testing .
