This concrete rapid freeze-thaw tester is used for testing frost resistance of concrete specimens under water freeze-thaw conditions, making it key equipment for evaluating concrete durability.
Working Principle: Standard concrete specimens (100×100×400mm) are placed in specimen boxes with a 3mm water layer. They are cycled between freezing (-17℃) and thawing (+8℃), with each cycle lasting 2~4 hours, of which thawing time accounts for no less than 1/4 of the total freeze-thaw time. After multiple freeze-thaw cycles, mass loss and relative dynamic elastic modulus changes are measured to evaluate frost resistance.
